Well, I went down to ATL to secure an apartment. I had 4 places I wanted to see, the first being the place I was most interested in. For all the planning, the car I was in decided to over heat while on my way to the first place. The issue was resolved quickly enough but I was now a half hour late. I still went on to the first place and decided to skip the rest. I do believe I have found my home. Oh and I got 2 bedrooms so... give me a little time to furnish it, and please come visit.
I also got to see my friend Dale, who has not changed a bit since college. She is still the sweetest person ever and I am so glad I will be closer to her soon.
I also got another tattoo, though I am planning to keep the pictures private for this one. I'll just say that it is symbolic of the things going on in my life right now. But the real story is the totally awesome artist I stumbled upon, His name is Mark and his shop is called "Overlord Tattoo". He is simply amazing! Now I want more. If you are ever in ATL and want some ink, look him up. He has a great personality and did not overcharge. His work is wonderful. Highly recommend. And you can't beat a guy with an English accent.
So my move is officially under way because now that I have an address I can figure out the movers and dates and all that. I'm feeling pretty good about this again.
I slept more this weekend than I have in many, many weeks. I wonder if it was the peace of mind, all the meat I ate, that I don't normally, or the Bombay Saphire I gulped last night. Not sure, not sure I really care. It was over all, a very good weekend. Now..who wants to ride shot gun with me when I drive my car down 16 hours to Newnan, GA at the end of June?
